Bhopal Senior leader Digvijaya Singh met Chief Minister Kamal Nath, accompanied by Rajgarh candidate Mona Sustani.
In fact, Congress is in shock after being defeated in MP. There is upheaval in the party from Bhopal to Delhi. Churning is being done over causes of defeat. The news is that ministers who were given the responsibility of specific areas may be questioned.
Further strategy can be discussed on Madhya Pradesh. It may be noted that the BJP has challenged of getting a floor test with Congress, which CM Kamal Nath has accepted. It is expected that next month Congress may convene a session of the Assembly. Before this, the BJP has also made claims to topple the Congress government.
On the contrary, Digvijaya Singh arrived at CM bungalow to meet Kamal Nath, after facing defeat at the hands of BJP’s Sadhvi Pragya by lakhs of votes from the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat.
Earlier Digvijaya Singh had said that track record of PM Narendra Modi in dealing terrorism is not good. Never before such large number of jawans became martyr as during the time of Modi regime.
Claiming that Congress fight on ideology basis will continue, he told that still BJP is not able to digest the fact Congress has come to power in Madhya Pradesh. He added that BJP during canvassing never mentioned about unfulfilled promises made in Lok Sabha elections of 2014.
No BJP leader talked about black money, jobs etc. On being asked that whether he erred in contesting election from Bhopal rather than from his bastion Rajgarh, he told that he is a common worker of party and will fight election from wherever party asks him to contest from. He told that Congress got defeated but it is not weak. However, self-introspection is needed.
Meanwhile, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vairagyanand has been sacked by Niranjani Akhara for organising a ‘yajna’ and ‘anusthan’ for Digvijaya Singh when he was campaigning for the Lok Sabha election.
Swami Vairagyanand, who was associated with Panchayati Niranjani Akhara, created a flutter when he conducted a unique ‘havan’ of 5 kg of red chilli every day for a week to ensure the victory of Digvijaya from Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. Confident of Digvijaya’s victory in the Lok Sabha election, the sheer had said that he would take a live ‘samadhi’ if Singh loses the poll.
Following the humiliating defeat of Singh, a video showing Swami Vairagyanand’s speaking of ‘live samadhi’ has gone viral on social media.
