This spoof comedy is based mainly on two characters, Arjun Patiala (Diljit Dosanjh) and his sidekick Onida Singh (Varun Sharma). They want the town Ferozepur in Punjab to be crime free. Arjun is quite often seen in the company of women and whiskey. His sidekick Onida is heartbroken after multiple affairs gone wrong. He has a buffalo as his lady love. Ritu Randhawa (Kriti Sanon) is a glamorous television reporter who reports on the dreadful goons of Ferozepur. Then there is an MLA named Prapti Makkad (Seema Pahwa), who is known as ‘Property Makkar’ for her corrupt and nefarious deals in property market. There is a goon called Sakool (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) and also an IPS Gill (Ronit Roy). Together, they all try to accomplish their mission of a crime-free town with their goofy style of policing.
The film’s first half has many scenes which may be termed as comic scenes. Sunny Leone tries to boost the comedy quotient but fails. She appears in an item song which is not very popular on music charts. Diljit Dosanjh delivers quite a decent performance. He has tried some funny moments with his partner Varun Sharma. Sharma is best in his comic role throughout the movie. He can be considered as the number one comedy star in Hindi films now a day. Kriti Sanon is also good in her performance. She tries to get space in this male dominated comedy film.
Screenplay and direction are not up to mark. These departments are very poor on many occasions in the film. It becomes increasingly childish and pointless in the second half.
This Spoof comedy is not up to mark to tickle your funny bone.
