Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in B-town with the plethora of interesting projects in his pipeline. He is currently gearing up for Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. But details about one of his upcoming project has surfaced.
Recently social media went abuzz when Akshay Kumar’s pictures from the fields of London and Yorkshire were leaked. A source close to the film had confirmed that Akshay Kumar is shooting for an untitled next, based on a real-life hero and his bravery in a rescue operation at a coal mine.
Now, details about the leading lady are out! And it’s none other than his Kesari co-star Parineeti Chopra. Announcing the same, Parineeti took to her social media handle and posted a picture with Akshay Kumar and captioned, “We are back 😊

Needless to say, offset- the duo look super cool together in York.
For the unversed, this untitled film is helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai who previously directed Akshay in Rustom and bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani. We have also heard that their production company has blocked over 100 acres for shooting and the film is touted to be the grandest Indian film in terms of scale, ever shot in the UK.
On the work front, Parineeti has Uunchai in her kitty, while Akshay Kumar has films like Ram Setu, Mission Cindrella, Selfie and Oh My God 2. Akshay’s soon-to-begin projects include Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a comedy with Mudassar Aziz, an air force-based action drama with Dinesh Vijan and another film with Dharma Production, among many more.
