Her career in modelling happened by chance, when she sent her modelling photos to Elite Models India. They liked her work and suggested her to take assignments. She was reluctant to take on a career in modelling, so she decided to work part-time as a fashion model.

absDiana Penty is an Indian model-turned actress. She has walked the ramp for eminent Italian as well as Indian designers. She has been the brand ambassador for renowned brands like Maybelline and Garnier. She made her acting debut with Homi Adajania’s commercially successful romantic comedy film Cocktail. She was seen in Aanand L. Rai’s movie ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’. She attended St.Agnes High School in Mumbai. She is a Mass Media graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. As per the latest reports, Diana Penty has been approached to play the leading lady in Nikkhil Advani’s Lucknow Central continues. Directed by debutant Ranjit Tiwari, the movie stars Farhan Akhtar. Diana Penty is dating a Mumbai-based diamond merchant, Harsh Sagar. Harsh Sagar is filmmaker Chandra Barot’s newphew.

Diana Penty began a full-time modelling career when she was signed up by Elite Models India in 2005. She soon established a successful career as a model after walking the ramp for many of India’s top designers. In 2007, she hit the international circuit when she began to endorse globally renowned brands like Maybelline, Garnier and Forever 21. In 2013, she made her acting debut with Homi Adajania’s romantic comedy Cocktail. When she established her niche in modelling, she was offered a role in the film Cocktail in 2012 along with Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan by Homi Adajania, which was a commercially hit film. She was appreciated for her performance in the film, however, after her debut film; she was almost away from films for around three years. In fact, she was supposed to her debut with Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar in 2011 but had to reject the film due to her modelling assignment and thus got replaced by Nargis Fakhri. Thus Cocktail turned out her debut film, which was also a hit at the box office.

Diana Penty was nominated in a number of Award functions and won two awards including the UK Bollywood Cosmopolitan Awards and Vogue Beauty Awards. Though she got away from films but continued to work for a number of brands to do modelling including Nokia, TRESemme, Micromax Mobile apart from being seen on the cover page of different magazines like Vogue, Elle and Verve in between 2012 to 2013. Also, she was seen on the cover page of magazines like Grazia, Femina and Women’s Health India. This hot and sexy model appeared in a number of advertisements, endorsing products like Garnier Fructis, Virgin mobile, and so on. She even replaced Deepika Padukone as the face of renowned international cosmetics brand ‘Maybelline’. Easy, fuss-free and minimalistic natural make-up kind of person – Diana believes in being simple, straightforward and confident. She gravitates towards happy and positive things and like to surround herself with people she loves.
