Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the video conferencing with collectors and divisional commissioners on Saturday said that they must ensure benefit of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana (crop payment deficit scheme) to the farmers. Farmers should not face problems while selling their produces and in payment.
The CM also gave directives in detail for celebrating Madhya Pradesh Foundation day in the form of Lokotsav (public celebration) and to give multi-objective form to the vikas yatras (development rallies). Chief Secretary BP Singh including all the senior officers were present on the occasion.
CM Chouhan instructed that intensive inspections of krishi upaj mandis should be conducted and farmers should not face any problem in cash payment. He mentioned that there is no shortage of cash. There is no prohibition on the limit of cash withdrawal from the bank account for the traders. Confusion of the farmers and traders should be removed in this regard.
Moreover, Chouhan mentioned that model rates should be checked daily and action should be taken against wrongdoings. Handle farmers’ cases with complete seriousness and sensitivity under mission mode.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave directives for better arrangements for Run for Unity being organized on the occasion of birthday of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on October 31. He gave instructions to celebrate Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day programme as public festival on November 01.
He mentioned that people, public representatives, social, cultural and traders organizations should be linked with this. Besides illuminating government buildings, people should be inspired to illuminate private buildings.
