Pandit Automotive Company issues lockout notice in Pune

The Pandit automotive company on Wednesday issued lockout notice of the company stating that it is suffering financial stress for the past two years. Around 300 employees work here in the company.

Talking to our reporter the union leader Avinash Kalate said that company who is more than 60 years in the reputed business of dealership and having 21 branches across the Maharashtra has put lock at their three branches on Wednesday without any prior notice to employees.

The employees who were sitting on strike demanding justice from the government said that they have not been given their salary for the last six months. “It was shock to see the lockout notice at the company when employees came to their duty today”, said Mr Kalate.

Meanwhile, the company has also issued the statement stated that decision has been taken with heavy heart and utmost sadness but we have no any other option since there is threat to life and limb for me and for all of us.

Pandit automotive, established in 1956 and is reputed name in dealership business for more than 60 years.
The company has 21 locations across Pune, Satara and Sangli dealing in Tata motors vehicles.
