Story : This is story about fight with a gang in the city to save it. Action hero Prabhas takes the responsibility of solving mystery of black box and robberies in the city. There are many villains who are out to destroy peace and harmony in the society. The undercover cop Prabhas takes this fight to their den and wins.
This is considered to be India’s biggest action thriller. In the first half, the story develops as it travels to connect high-stake robberies in Mumbai. The Police are looking for a missing black box that is the key to a fortune. Film’s leading man, Prabhas fits the bill perfectly in this story line but it lacks the charisma of “Bahubali”. His canvas in that movie is far superior to this movie. His dialogue delivery has been noticed widely. It seems deliberately slow, which suits at times, but not always.
Shraddha Kapoor looks pretty, but her character is not up to mark. She plays a cop, but is always found in distress. It is unlike a cop. Her pairing with Prabhas doesn’t look cool and they look like mismatch.
Among many villains, Chunky Pandey is superb as villain. Other actors fail to make much impact in the film. There are old jokes for light moments which don’t make people laugh. Music is average. The action sequences are very good. There are many action scenes shot differently.
The film’s second half picks pace and fills the gap made in the first half. Still, the film could have been edited better.
Overall, ‘Saaho’ is an action packed drama. Action movie lovers and fans of Prabhas may take a chance to watch the film
