Monsoons are the most pleasant of all weathers and it is synonymous with romance. Read on, as some of your favourite television stars share their most romantic monsoon memories…
My most romantic monsoon memory is from college days. The rain would instill or induce thoughts in my head about my imaginary future husband and I’d day dream all the time while watching the rain pour.
My romantic monsoon memory I remember when I was in Hansraj College. I had a crush on a girl she was doing English honours and I was doing B.Com. We both used to bunk classes and sit at lovers’ point (very popular as LP) and used to chit chat for hours sipping coffee and it used to be perfect ambience because of the rains. I think the weather really helped me and we eventually started dating.
The only romantic moments I have of the monsoons is writing romantic scenes for my characters. I personally have no romantic moments as I have been single since time immemorial.

Rohit and I both love the rains and we are always happy when it rains. Except when we are shooting outdoors! If it’s a rainy day ideally I’d like to be curled up at home having ginger tea with bhajjiyas (Rohit’s favourite food in the rains) while we watch the rains lash outside our windows.
Most romantic monsoon memory would be carrying one of my dates from the main Link road Andheri all the way to her apartment 10 mins away in my lap, because she didn’t want to get wet but the stubborn me would had no other way. She was thrilled at the end of it.
I remember was when I went on a trek with Rochelle and there was this beautiful waterfall and we were all alone there playing in waterfall. So that’s my most memorable romantic monsoon memory which I will never forget.
