The television actor, Karanvir Bohra is one of the most successful and popular actors in the television industry. If reports are to be believed, the actor has been booked by Mumbai Police for allegedly duping a 40-year-old woman of Rs 1.99 Crore. He took the money from the lady promising her to return it with the interest of 2.5%.
However, the woman claimed that only Rs 1 crore was returned to her.
As per reports, it is being said that the actor and his wife Teejay Sidhu had promised the lady to return her amount with interest but they failed to do so.
Bohra was last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. During one of the episodes, Bohra had himself revealed to be in huge debt and he thought of committing suicide.
The actor had reportedly told other participants that he was facing a financial crisis and that he had cases filed against him for defaulting on loans. He had also admitted that all the shows he did since 2015 were to pay back all the money he took.
Apart from Lock Upp, Karanvir Bohra has participated in numerous reality shows such as Nach Baliye 4, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, and Bigg Boss 12.
