Mumbai| India pacer Arshdeep Singh has been in the headlines since the Super 4 clash against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022. Arshdeep has received harsh criticism on social media after his lost catch contributed to India losing the game. He was called ‘traitor’ by a man while he was boarding the team bus. The video of the same is doing rounds on the internet.
Reacting to the video of the incident, Richa Chaddha wrote in a tweet, “Ugly, paunchy, loser who could be outrun by a snail has the audacity to badmouth a player. F.O. armchair critic. Your life is #jhand, stop venting on others. Arshdeep paaji, tussi koi lod na lo (Don’t stress). Love you.”
Apart from Richa Chaddha, Ayushmann Khuranna, Swara Bhasker, Gul Panag and Pooja Bhatt and dialogue writer-lyricist Varun Grover too came out in Arshdeep’s support.
