Shashank Khaitan on Vicky, Kiara and Bhumi “ I sincerely believe that each of them could be a stand-up comedian”

Shashank Khaitan’s upcoming release, the comedy-thriller explores the upbeat life of Govind A. Waghmare (Vicky Kaushal), a struggling choreographer, and sends viewers on an exhilarating voyage filled with romance and excitement. The three actors join forces for an unusual love triangle with dramatic turns and twists. He is torn between his love for Suku (Kiara Advani), his lover, and his marriage to Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar).

Shashank opined, “I have always believed that everyone has a creative side and as a director, I think it’s only fair that I allow that creative flow and take bits that could help the film. Luckily, each of the actors involved has their own quirks and their own ingenious methodologies. Not a single moment went by without somebody randomly laughing during the comic scenes. The whole set would resonate with laughter and I sincerely believe that each of them could be a stand-up comedian on their own accord for the number of jokes they crack!”

The full-length family comedy, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, features Vicky Kaushal, a popular actor in Bollywood, in a brand-new avatar. The big-budget Christmas film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani, will premiere exclusively on OTT on December 16.
